Baby Driver is a 2017 American action-comedy drama film directed by Edgar Wright and written by Edgar Wright, with a story by Jon Hamm.

Baby Driver Ansel Elgort, Lily James, Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey are the protagonists of Baby Driver, one of the most anticipated films of the year that comes from Media Rights Capital, Tristar and Sony Pictures. Edgar Wright (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) is the director of this action film in which we follow in the footsteps of Baby (Ansel Elgort), a leaked escort who will help a gang of criminals until he meets the love of his life .

You can already enjoy this exclusive trailer in which the protagonists gives you some of the keys to a movie in which music will be another great protagonist.

The director of ‘Zombies Party’ or ‘Welcome to the End of the World’, Edgar Wright, returns, without Simon Pegg, but with an action movie and robberies. But as we might expect from him, it is not a tale of muggings to use. Here, the conductor of a gang of robbers (Ansel Elgort) depends on the music for his work. Everything will be fine until love crosses your path.

‘Baby Driver’ will hit our billboard next July 7 by Sony Pictures. In this progress its protagonists present us to Baby, the personage interpreted by Ansel Elgort.

Nowadays it’s become easy for blockbusters to use visual effects to pull off insane stunts. It’s part of the reason some action movies have become surprisingly mundane. There’s just something that lacks excitement about a stunt you know wasn’t actually done by anything other than a computer. Even the Fast and Furious movies have taken to having more visual effects heavy action sequences when they used to rely on real stunt driving. But thankfully, this summer brings a cure for the common blockbuster.

Baby Driver is the latest film from writer/director Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim vs the World), and a new featurette reveals that the action flick about a getaway driver trying to get away from his chosen profession is chock full of real stunt driving, with real cars, on real locations, with real people. For real

One of the most exciting aspects of this movie is all the real stunt driving that was done. Reportedly all of the driving stunts in this movie are practical, and even the actors themselves (at least Ansel Elgort and Jon Hamm) had to go through some stunt driving training of their own, as seen in the video above. Some of the stunts featured in this video alone are extremely impressive, especially that 4×4 getting spun sideways under the semi-truck.

The rest of the Baby Driver cast includes Lily James, Kevin Spacey, Jamie Foxx, Jon Bernthal and Eiza González, but the real star of the movie is going to be the soundtrack that drives the entire movie. If you want to know more about just how important the film’s soundtrack is to the movie, read the rave review from our own Jacob Hall, who caught the film at SXSW earlier this year.

Following the escapades of a tinnitus-suffering, talented wheelman, Edgar Wright’s sixth film is a far cry from Shaun and Fuzz. “I wanted to make a film that wasn’t in inverted commas,” Wright tells Empire in our latest issue. “[Baby Driver is] visceral, darker, more cynical. People are surprised by it, in a good way. The stuff in it is universal: car chases and shoot-outs and music and beautiful girls. But the combination of things here feels new.”

“Most action movies at the moment are solidly PG-13. I wanted something spikier,” Wright continues. Driver certainly looks to be just that, swapping model villages and local pubs for full-on car chases and a bank-robbing Jon Hamm. But it’s not just Hamm’s Buddy that Baby Driver has to worry about. There’s also the rest of Doc’s (Kevin Spacey, below) pool of criminals – most notably the red jacket-sporting, heavily-tattooed Bats, played by Jamie Foxx (“I’m there to be the person you really don’t like,” Foxx tells Empire. You’re going to want this motherfucker to burn”).

Will Baby Driver come out of the film unscathed? Will he get the girl (Lily James)? Will we discover the secret to Jon Hamm’s perfectly slicked-back hair? Find out when Baby Driver hits cinemas on 28 June.
